Jonathan M. Naraine joined the American Legion on October 17, 2011. Currently, Jonathan serves as a National Field Service Representative; his area of responsibility includes Veterans Integrated Service Network's 2, 3,9,10, and 19. Jonathan will be conducting site visits in FY 2011 to various Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical facilities in conjunction with the American Legion's "A System Worth Saving" Program.

Jonathan served four years in the United States Marine Corps on Active Duty. His military occupation was Infantryman. He was stationed at Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base, Hawaii with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines. Throughout his career he served in OEF in 2005 and OIF in 2006. During his tour, Jonathan was a recipient of the Combat Action Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and received Meritorious Corporal.

Jonathan obtained a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security from University of Maryland University College. Currently, Jonathan resides in Waldorf, Maryland.
